PASS4 GOLF is a not for profit business founded in 2002 to assess, assist, promote and support student athletes find and win sports scholarships in Higher Education. 

Over the years PASS4 has been diligently advising golfers and their parents about the fierce competition for golf places in American universities and colleges.Our proven reputation is based on trust and successful placement.

At PASS4Golf we tell it as it is. Some consultants raise expectations simply to make a Fee. We have no allegiances or affliations with any of the industry golf bodies, county coaches or others. There are over 20 million golfers and some 17,000 golf courses in the USA. Most American student golfers seeking scholarships are from Socio-Economic AB backgrounds that prepare well in advance for university throughout High School and are used to saving/paying for their education.  

International student athletes need to display golf achievement. Playing at Category 1 level by age 16/17 is impressive. Ideally playing off 1 or Scratch or better aspirants must demonstrate desire, determination, maturity and academic inclination to not only gain admission into a program but to graduate after 4 years of study.

For example 2012 Masters Champion Bubba Watson whose grades were not the best started his journey into professional golf at Faulkner State Junior College in Alabama for 2 years before moving up to Georgia State University in the 2000 and 2001 seasons.

Golfer teaching and competitive development within the American systems is no better than in the UK. Weather and course conditions for year round competitive golf south of the snowline are generally excellent. And opportunities for playing and jobs may be far more numerous than in the UK. However, the superb elite and talented development work at senior and junior levels supported by the The Royal & Ancient Golf Club, the Golf Unions and the PGA's is on a par with our American counter-parts within the USGA, State unions and USPGA.

Only the best international golfers will win the small number of fully or almost fully funded places. Otherwise for the majority of aspirants, careful financial planning matched to desire, determination, talent and realistic expectation is required. In all cases however it is vital to listen to independent professional advice.

At PASS4Golf we work through 3 steps as follows:-

EVALUATION. Register your interest at "Sign Up" above. Suitable candidates between age 15 and 20 will then be invited to request an Assessment.

ASSESSMENT. We will look closely at your golf history, your grades and your references. We then advise you and your parents about all the upfront costs of "getting to the USA" and the net cost of education.  

NETWORKING. Upon joining the PASS4Golf Network you will be personally introduced and recommended to US university or college golf programs. All our clients are mentored through the process up to departure to America.
