Most recruits for the 2012 academic year will be identified between August and December 2010 and received their NLI on 1 February 2012. For 2013 it is best to plan early by taking advice especially about present Golf handicap and the academic entry routes available.

It is a fact that most UK students will fail to make ANY preparations before January or February 2012 to enter a US university on a sports scholarship in September 2012. Most of these prospects WILL miss out on the best opportunities and have to wait yet another year.

One US Head Coach recently commented:

"Just to remind student athletes, the details you supplied to us in January (2011) were of great interest to us but their interest was too late.We finished recruiting for 201i/2012 in December 2010 and are now moving on to 2012/2013. It is common for US coaches to identify prospects at least one year in advance."
