Most recruits for the 2011 academic year will be identified between August and December 2010 and received their NLI on 1 February 2011.

Most UK students will fail to make ANY preparations before January or February 2011 to enter a US university on a sports scholarship in September 2011. Most of these prospects WILL miss out on the best opportunities and have to wait yet another year.

One US Head Coach recently commented:

"just to remind student athletes, the details you supplied to us in January (2010) were of great interest to us but their interest was too late.We finished recruiting for 2010/2011 in December 2009 and are now moving on to 2011/2012."

"It is common for US coaches to identify prospects at least one year in advance, from December through August. We invite US prospects and early foreign applicants who have a SAT/ACT test score to visit in September and October and apply in November. We start the cycle again in December in the prior academic year.
